Of course! All our tallow is sourced from cattle that are grass-fed and finished, raised without the use of added hormones or antibiotics, so you know your skin is receiving the very best.

Did you know? Grass-fed tallow has a higher concentration of vitamins, minerals, and beneficial fatty acids, making it a more effective and healing choice for your skin. It’s also a more ethical, natural and sustainable way of raising cattle, which we love supporting!

Our small-batch handcrafted tallow is sourced from the suet of 100% grass-fed & finished cows from small family run farms in Ontario, Canada.

Our tallow undergoes a triple purification process to effectively eliminate any strong beef odours. While tallow does possess a unique scent, it is generally quite subtle. In my opinion, it smells a little bit like icing, though everyone will experience it differently.

Apply a small amount to face and body where nourishment and moisture is needed. Our Tallow Whips are formulated without fillers so a little really does go a long way!


The Milkmaid Supply Co. Tallow Whips are shelf stable for 12 months.

Be sure to keep your jar at room temperature. Because our tallow whip is all natural and made without stabilizers, it can melt at high heat. If your tallow whip does melt, no worries! Just pop it in the fridge or re-whip.

Please note that temperature fluctuations can create a grainy texture. This won’t change the effectiveness of the whip at all, and will smoothen when applied to skin.

To prevent bacteria, it’s recommended to apply using clean dry hands, don’t let any water get into the jar and keep lid closed tightly between uses.

Due to our commitment to high-quality fabrics, ethical labor practices, and Canadian manufacturing, our prices may exceed typical expectations. Unlike conventional brands that manufacture their products in foreign factories, often underpaying workers and using synthetic materials that are harmful to the environment and your health, our products cost more to produce. But we promise its worth it to support an ethical supply chain.

Every single garment we produce is carefully handcrafted by skilled women, right here in Canada, who are compensated fairly for their work. Our fabric is exclusively 100% linen, that is also certified by Oeko-Tex, guaranteeing it has been thoroughly tested and proven to be free of harmful levels of toxic substances. These commitments to quality and sustainability are not cheap, and that is reflected in the final price of our products.

As a small business, we are currently unable to cover the costs associated with processing returns. However if there are any issues with your order, do not hesitate to reach out. All orders will be sent within 1-3 business days. You will receive a notification once your order has been shipped, along with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your package.

The exact delivery time depends on your location. For orders within Canada, you can typically expect delivery within 2-5 business days after shipping, while orders to the USA usually arrive within 4-7 business days after being shipped.

For Australia and European orders, you can expect your package within 8-15 business days.

We currently offer $10 flat rate shipping to Canada & the USA, plus $20 flat rate shipping to Australia and most major countries in Europe (France, UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal & Germany).

Even though we are proudly a Canadian company, the majority of our customers are based in the USA, hence our prices are in USD. In the future, we aim to add a feature for currency to change based on location.
