What Is Oil Cleansing?

Oil Cleansing involves cleansing the face with an oil instead of the typical soap, alcohol or water.

It’s the opposite of conventional conventional makeup removers and harsh cleansers that disrupt your skins protective moisture barrier, by removing everything, including healthy oils and good bacteria.

A compromised moisture barrier makes it easier for pollutants and irritants to penetrate the skin increasing inflammation. This also makes your skin produce more oil (and therefore, more acne).

Ingredients:

Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil: Closely resembles the natural sebum produced by our skin and easily dissolves excess oil and grime from the surface of the skin. This oil is also rich in vitamin E and is non-comedogenic.

Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil: Packed with antioxidants and can help skin heal from wounds and burns more quickly. It is also known to deeply moisturize the skin and improve acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

Organic Castor Oil: Castor Oil is a rich source of vitamin E and fatty acids that help to detoxify, soothe, and hydrate the skin. It helps to purify the complexion while promoting collagen production and calming skin conditions.

Magnolia Flower Essential Oil: This highly versatile essential oil helps in healing irritation, calming inflammation, and combating bacteria.

Organic Grapefruit Essential Oil: Grapefruit stimulates circulation and provides the skin cells with much-needed nourishment from increased oxygen. This uplifting and fresh essential oil also brightens the complexion, giving the skin a healthy glow.

Organic Neroli Essential Oil: Neroli essential oil has a gentle, grounding aroma and aids in reducing inflammation, and rejuvenating the skin.

How To Use:

Step 1: Pour a dropper full of cleansing oil into your clean palm. On dry skin, gently massage in circular motions for 1 minute. This helps dissolve excess oil, dead skin, and impurities.

Step 2: Soak a washcloth in warm (not hot) water and wring out the excess. Lay the warm cloth over your face for 10-15 seconds until it cools, pressing lightly. The warmth helps dissolve oils in your pores, transferring them to the cloth.

Step 3: Use the damp cloth to gently wipe the oil away. Avoid rubbing.

Step 4: If wearing makeup, repeat this process a second time.

Step 5: Finish with a small (dime size) amount of tallow whip all over to lock in moisture and nourish skin.
